Paris, France, August 2026 — CHANEL has appointed Hélène de Tissot as its next Chief Financial Officer (CFO), strengthening its executive leadership team with a highly accomplished finance executive who brings more than two decades of international leadership experience from Pernod Ricard. She will oversee CHANEL’s global financial strategy, supporting the luxury house’s continued growth, operational excellence, and long-term innovation agenda.
With over 30 years of experience spanning finance, corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, taxation, and international business leadership, Hélène de Tissot has established an outstanding reputation for driving financial transformation and strategic growth across global organizations. Before joining CHANEL, she spent nearly 24 years at Pernod Ricard, where she most recently served as Executive Vice President of Finance & IT, leading the group’s worldwide finance and technology functions while supporting business transformation and operational performance.
During her distinguished tenure at Pernod Ricard, de Tissot also served as Group Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions Director, where she led strategic growth initiatives, corporate development, and investment priorities. Earlier, she was Senior Vice President of Finance for Asia, based in Hong Kong, overseeing financial operations across one of the company’s fastest-growing regions. She also spent almost eight years as Group Tax Director, developing deep expertise in global finance, governance, taxation, and corporate strategy. Her extensive leadership experience across finance, strategy, and international markets positions her strongly to guide CHANEL’s financial operations during its next phase of global growth.
Prior to joining Pernod Ricard, de Tissot spent nearly nine years with Arthur Andersen as a Senior International Tax Lawyer, advising multinational organizations on complex international tax and legal matters. She completed her studies at ESSEC Business School, earned a Master in Law from Paris II Assas University, and successfully passed the French Bar Examination in 1993, providing a unique blend of financial, legal, and strategic expertise that has defined her executive career.
