Washington, District of Columbia, United States, August 2026 — Keller and Heckman LLP has appointed Julia Larson as its Global Director of Human Resources. In her new role, Larson will lead the firm’s global HR strategy, overseeing talent management, organizational development, employee engagement, and people operations to support the continued growth of the international law firm.
With nearly 20 years of experience in human resources, talent management, recruitment, and organizational development, Julia Larson has built a distinguished career leading people functions across professional services, consulting, legal, and public sector organizations. As Global Director of Human Resources at Keller and Heckman LLP, she will focus on strengthening the firm’s people strategy, enhancing employee experience, developing leadership capability, and supporting business growth through effective human capital management.
Prior to joining Keller and Heckman LLP, Larson served as Director of HR & Talent at Precision, where she led strategic HR initiatives and talent management programmes. Earlier, she founded Maple Grove HR Consulting, advising organizations on HR strategy, talent acquisition, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness. She also spent more than four years at MSLGROUP, progressing from HR Manager to Director of Human Resources, where she played a key role in advancing people practices and supporting business growth.
Earlier in her career, Larson served as Head of Recruitment – North America at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, leading recruitment across 18 offices spanning the United States, Canada, and the English-speaking Caribbean while overseeing strategic talent acquisition and recruitment transformation initiatives. She also held HR positions with Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, building deep expertise in legal sector human resources, recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and organizational development. Her diverse career also includes early experience in the hospitality industry with East Court Street Group and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, reflecting a broad professional foundation centered on service excellence and people leadership.
