Green Bay, WI, May 2024 – Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin welcomes Charm D. as the new Vice President of Human Resources at . Charm joins our Executive Leadership Team with a passion for cultivating inclusive and caring workplace cultures. In her own words, “Humanity-minded leaders make inclusion and caring for others a social practice. I’m excited to join Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin to lead people strategy and support a culture where HR cares for those who care for others.”
Charm’s most recent role was at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, where she has been serving as an Adjunct Faculty member since July 2022. In this role, she instructed on social issues, DE&I metrics/data, intercultural communication, community building, leadership, and organizational culture change. Her contributions in these areas have been instrumental in shaping future leaders with a strong emphasis on diversity and inclusion.
Prior to that, Charm was the Author of “My Happiness Counts” with With Wonder Publishing, LLC. Since April 2021, she has been teaching children (ages 0-5) that their happiness counts through joyful rhymes and vibrant illustrations with diverse characters in engaging scenes. This work highlights her dedication to promoting happiness and inclusivity from an early age.
Charm is also the CEO + Founder of Get to Gather, a position she has held since January 2021. At Get to Gather, she focuses on building inclusive communities intentionally. Her leadership in this venture showcases her commitment to fostering environments where everyone feels valued and included.
Additionally, Charm has been the Founder of Wonder at Work since January 2015. This boutique consulting and training collective is dedicated to supporting inquisitive leaders on inclusive organizational change, culture mapping, enhancing communication, and embedding equity to create thriving workplaces. Her long-term involvement here demonstrates her expertise in driving cultural transformation in organizations.
Earlier in her career, Charm worked at Prevea Health as the Manager of Health Equity – D&I Leadership | Health Equity. During her tenure from October 2023 to March 2024, she played a pivotal role in advancing patient and community health equity through various initiatives and partnerships, such as the Wello Wellbeing Summit and the Sheboygan County Economic Outlook Meeting.
