Zurich, Switzerland, October 2024 – Hauser & Wirth has appointed Christine Schmidhalter as its new Chief People Officer (CPO). In her role, Christine will focus on advancing the gallery’s people strategy, driving alignment with organizational goals, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive work environment to support Hauser & Wirth’s artistic and business vision.
Christine joins Hauser & Wirth from Neoperl Group, where she served as Group Head of HR for over six years, leading initiatives in digital transformation, organizational development, and succession planning. Her strategic leadership in talent management and sustainable HR practices helped establish a future-ready workforce.
Previously, Christine was the Vice President of Human Resources at Belimed, where she spearheaded cultural transformation and HR strategy execution, supporting the company’s Vision 2025. She also served as Senior HR Consultant for Rivella AG and held senior HR roles at Covidien AG, gaining extensive experience in HR transformation, compensation, and organizational design.
Her HR career began with roles at Landis+Gyr, NCS Group, and JohnsonDiversey, where she developed her expertise in people management and HR operations.
