United States, July 2024 – Christos Yatrakis has recently started his position as Chief People and Legal Officer at Allbirds. In this new role, Christos will oversee both the human resources and legal functions, driving strategic initiatives that align with the company’s mission and values.
Christos Yatrakis has been with Allbirds for over a year. Most recently, he served as the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, where he was responsible for overseeing all legal aspects of the company’s operations, ensuring compliance, and managing corporate governance.
Before joining Allbirds, Christos held significant roles at Gymshark. As the General Manager – North America, he was responsible for the overall operations and growth in the region. Prior to that, he served as the Vice President of Legal & People – North America, where he managed legal affairs and human resources, contributing to the company’s expansion and operational efficiency.
Christos also spent over six years at Arrow Electronics, progressing from Corporate Counsel to Vice President, Legal Affairs. During his tenure, he managed complex legal issues, provided strategic advice, and implemented legal frameworks to support business objectives.
His legal career began at Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP, where he gained extensive experience in complex commercial litigation and intellectual property protection. He managed investigations related to fraud, trade secret theft, and brand protection, collaborating with federal law enforcement on several high-profile cases.
Christos’s early career includes roles as an Associate at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP, and a Law Clerk at the U.S. Court of International Trade. He also served as a Housing Unit Extern at South Brooklyn Legal Services.
