Dublin, Ireland, April 2025 – Dawn West has been appointed as Chief People Officer at Insurance Ireland, the leading representative body for the insurance industry in Ireland. In this strategic leadership role, she will be responsible for crafting and executing a forward-looking people strategy that aligns with the organization’s corporate goals, enhances employee experience, and drives talent initiatives across the sector.
Dawn West has been associated with Insurance Ireland for over two years. Prior to her current role, she worked as HR & OD Consultant, supporting the CEO and senior leadership team on a wide array of HR and organizational development projects, including strategy, talent, and engagement.
Before that, Dawn served as Leadership & OD Consultant & Coach (Associate Director Level) at Regeneron, where she led global leadership development initiatives, team development programs, coaching assignments, and major OD consultancy projects for over five years.

Earlier, she worked with the Road Safety Authority as HR Consultant – L&D and Organisational Development, where she was instrumental in building the People Strategy, leadership programs in partnership with UCD, and enhancing organizational learning through an L&D Centre of Excellence branded as ‘My Learning’.
In a consulting capacity through her firm Catalysts for Change Ltd, Dawn advised numerous clients across sectors such as education, not-for-profits, and professional services. She also held key HR leadership roles at The Orbit Group, Insight HR, HR Dynamix, Sage Group, and The Rebus Group, demonstrating her extensive HR and OD expertise across public and private sectors in the UK and Ireland.
