Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, June 2026 — Teva Pharmaceuticals has appointed Deepti Hegde as Director HR, where she will lead the human resources agenda for Teva India’s Research & Development organization.
Deepti brings nearly two decades of experience in human resources, talent management, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, workforce transformation, and talent acquisition across the pharmaceutical, telecommunications, chemicals, engineering, and manufacturing sectors. Her appointment underscores Teva’s commitment to strengthening its people capabilities and fostering a high-performing R&D ecosystem across India.
Prior to joining Teva Pharmaceuticals, Deepti served as Vice President Human Resources at Vodafone Idea Limited, where she partnered with the Technology organization supporting more than 4,000 employees across Network, IT, Planning, Operations, and Product functions. During her tenure, she played a key role in workforce transformation initiatives, capability building, diversity and inclusion programs, organizational restructuring, and the implementation of innovative internal mobility initiatives designed to accelerate career growth and workforce agility.
Before Vodafone Idea, Deepti spent nearly nine years with Dow, where she held leadership positions including HR Business Partner India & Sub-Saharan Africa and HR Business Partner & Talent Acquisition Lead – India. During this period, she supported commercial businesses, R&D functions, manufacturing operations, and corporate functions while leading major talent and organizational transformation initiatives. She also played an important role in the people integration efforts associated with the Dow-DuPont merger, drove leadership development programs, supported digital HR transformation initiatives including Workday implementation, and led operational excellence programs across the EMEAI region.
Earlier in her career, Deepti spent over eight years with Larsen & Toubro, where she gained extensive experience in business partnering, leadership hiring, talent management, performance management, learning and development, employee engagement, and succession planning. She began her professional journey with CHR Global, where she worked on leadership hiring assignments across multiple industries, helping organizations identify and attract senior talent.
