San Jose, California, United States, February 2026 — Demetrius Cunningham has started a new role as Head of People Operations & Employee Experience at Extreme Networks. In this position, he will lead initiatives focused on strengthening employee experience and advancing people operations strategy within the organization.
Prior to this appointment, Demetrius Cunningham served as Sr. Director – Engagement & Strategic Partnerships at Extreme Networks, where he drove engagement and partnership strategies across the business. Earlier, he was Director of Sales Strategic Alliances at the company, following the acquisition of Aerohive Networks, where he held senior global alliance leadership roles that expanded strategic partnerships and channel growth.
Before joining Extreme Networks, he worked as Global Alliances Manager at Dropbox, developing and executing global partnership strategies and managing large-scale enterprise alliances. He also spent over 17 years at Dell, holding multiple leadership roles across sales, strategy, and operations, including Senior Manager of Enterprise Solutions, Chief of Staff, and Global Sales Operations Lead, contributing to major revenue growth and global business integration initiatives. He began his career in sales at MCI WorldCom.
