In this strategic leadership role, she will be responsible for overseeing Dote’s growth, operations, and market expansion across the UK and Ireland as the company accelerates its innovation in smart parenting products.
Denise brings with her deep sectoral knowledge in consumer products, marketing, and digital innovation. She is well-positioned to steer Dote through its next phase of acceleration, expansion, and disruption, aligning with the company’s bold technical roadmap.
Prior to this role, Denise Namakando had already been working with Dote as a Fractional Chief Marketing Officer, where she played an instrumental role in refining the brand’s positioning and go-to-market strategy.
She also served as Board Advisor and Fractional CMO at Finity, where she brought her marketing insights to help scale a software-focused business. Her earlier role as EMEA Marketing Director at Owlet Baby Care aligned closely with her new role at Dote, providing her valuable expertise in the baby-tech and parenting products segment.
Her experience also spans roles such as Senior Global Marketing Manager at Dyson, where she led strategic marketing initiatives for premium consumer technology products, and over five years at Mattel, where she led marketing for iconic brands like Barbie and other Girls Brands across the UK and EMEA region.
Denise began her brand management journey at Unilever and Sara Lee, where she developed core skills in global brand development, product positioning, and consumer insights.
