Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, August 2026 — DEPL (Dinesh Engineers Limited) has appointed Dr. Mukul H. Chopra as its Group Chief Human Resources Officer (Group CHRO). In his new role, Dr. Chopra will lead the Group’s people strategy, talent transformation, leadership development, and organizational growth initiatives as DEPL continues to strengthen its position in India’s telecommunications infrastructure sector.
With more than 30 years of experience across human resources leadership, Dr. Mukul H. Chopra has built a distinguished career spanning telecommunications, technology, retail, logistics, fintech, and digital businesses. Throughout his professional journey, he has successfully led large-scale HR transformations, talent acquisition, organizational development, leadership capability building, and people strategy across diverse industries.
Prior to joining DEPL, Dr. Chopra served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Transaction Solutions International (India) Pvt. Ltd. Earlier, he was Chief Human Resources Officer at ConveGenius, where he led the company’s people agenda during a significant growth phase. His leadership journey also includes serving as Head of Human Resources at Club Factory, Human Resources Director at Huawei, Head of Talent Acquisition at Aircel, Group HR Head at Arshiya International, Head HR – Global Technical Sales, India Branch at Huawei, Assistant Vice President at Reliance Retail, Circle Head – HR at Reliance Infocom, Manager at Airtel, Senior Executive at Essar Telecom, and Engineer at Jindal Strips.
Alongside his corporate leadership responsibilities, Dr. Chopra also serves as Principal Consultant at Transverse Consulting Ltd., reflecting his continued engagement in strategic HR advisory and organizational consulting. He holds an MBA in Human Resources from Panjab University, providing a strong academic foundation to complement his extensive industry experience.
