Devanand Prasad Joins Indwoke as Director & Chief Strategy, Product & Research Officer

Pune, Maharashtra, India, June 2026 – Indwoke Private Limited, a technology-driven data solutions provider serving the social sector, has appointed Devanand Prasad as Director & Chief Strategy, Product & Research Officer. In this strategic leadership role, Prasad will be responsible for shaping the organization’s strategic architecture, product vision, research agenda, and privacy governance framework, helping non-profits, donors, and policymakers transform grassroots field data into trusted, decision-grade evidence for social impact.

At Indwoke, Prasad will focus on building secure, trust-governed information infrastructure that enables social sector organizations to collect, analyze, protect, and leverage data more effectively. His mandate includes strengthening evidence-based decision-making capabilities, enhancing data governance standards, and developing scalable technology solutions that support long-term social change initiatives.

Prasad brings more than 15 years of experience spanning HR analytics, workforce planning, organizational design, governance, business excellence, digital transformation, and strategic planning across leading organizations in manufacturing, aerospace, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.

Prior to joining Indwoke, he served as Lead – HR Analytics and Excellence at Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL), where he led HR’s participation in the Tata Business Excellence Model (TBEM) assessment and played a key role in helping the organization achieve its highest score as a first-time participant. He also established enterprise HR scorecards, strengthened employee relations governance, enhanced HRMS governance, and supported international workforce integration initiatives.

Before TASL, Prasad held multiple leadership positions at PI Industries Ltd, including Head – Organisation Design, Workforce Planning and Analytics and HR Strategy Lead, CHRO Office. During his tenure, he established the company’s HR analytics and workforce planning function, implemented advanced workforce dashboards, collaborated with finance teams to create visibility into approximately ₹550 crore of HR and administrative spending, and supported major efficiency and cost optimization initiatives. He also led the implementation of SAP SuccessFactors Workforce modules and contributed significantly to ESG and workforce disclosure improvements.

Earlier in his career, Prasad spent nearly six years with Reliance Industries Limited, where he led HR audit and risk management programs across hire-to-retire processes for a workforce of approximately 35,000 employees. His work contributed to substantial reductions in audit findings and process deviations while strengthening governance, controls, and compliance frameworks across HR functions.

He also held HR transformation and analytics roles at Ambuja Cements, where he led the implementation of a digital labour compliance system covering approximately 20,000 contract workers across multiple manufacturing locations and contributed to HR integration efforts during the Lafarge-Holcim merger.

Prasad began his professional career with Coal India Limited, where he worked on operational budgeting, safety initiatives, and operational excellence programs, before pursuing broader leadership responsibilities in analytics, transformation, and organizational effectiveness.

His appointment comes at a time when social sector organizations increasingly rely on secure, data-driven insights to measure impact, improve accountability, and drive evidence-based policymaking. With his strong background in analytics, governance, transformation, and enterprise strategy, Prasad is expected to play a pivotal role in advancing Indwoke’s mission of enabling trusted and actionable social sector intelligence.
