Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, June 2025 – Dhawal Katkar has been appointed as Managing Director, India at Menarini Group. In his new role, Dhawal will lead the company’s business in India, focusing on scaling operations, driving innovation across products and channels, and making a positive impact in the pharmaceutical sector.
Before joining Menarini Group, Dhawal Katkar was Senior Vice President & Business Head – Consumer Products & Glenmark Generics at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, where he drove significant growth in the Derma OTC and Generics portfolios, leading product launches, channel scale-up, and brand transformation initiatives.
Previously, Dhawal held the position of Vice President & Business Head – Consumer Products at Piramal Group, where he managed P&L for the OTC business, led large sales and marketing teams, and drove new launches and brand acquisitions.
Earlier, Dhawal served as Senior Director & Network Head, South Asia at Turner International, heading WB & HBO channels and leading marketing for Kids channels in the region. He was also Associate Director Marketing at The Walt Disney Company India, managing marketing for the Home Entertainment vertical.
His earlier career includes leadership roles in marketing at Kraft Heinz (Heinz India), where he managed iconic brands, Godrej Consumer Products Ltd working on hair colorants and new business development, and L’Oréal, where he began in sales and brand management for Garnier.
