Chicago, Illinois, United States, November 2025 — Dina Gofis has been appointed as Director, Business Human Resources – US Specialty, Commercial at AbbVie, marking another milestone in her distinguished career in human resources and organizational leadership. This appointment reflects her exceptional contributions to talent strategy, culture transformation, and business integration within AbbVie’s global HR function.
Dina has been with AbbVie for over a year, most recently serving as Associate Director, Global Human Resources supporting the R&D Development Sciences organization. In this role, she led human capital strategies for more than 1,400 associates, partnering with scientific and operations leaders to advance development capabilities, strengthen culture, and lead the HR integration for the Capstan Therapeutics acquisition. Her tenure in R&D showcased her ability to align people strategy with innovation and organizational performance.
Prior to joining AbbVie, Dina served as Director of Human Resources at DeVry University, where she led HR business partnership and talent management across key corporate functions including Marketing, Business Development, Academics, Legal, and Regulatory Affairs. She was instrumental in building leadership capability and advancing organizational effectiveness through strategic HR interventions.
Before DeVry, Dina was Director, People Services at Neiman Marcus Group, where she oversaw HR strategy and talent management for the “Go-To-Market” functions such as Marketing, Brand Creative, Digital, and Performance & Growth. Her strategic partnership with C-level leaders helped optimize organization design and strengthen culture alignment with brand transformation goals.
Her seven-year tenure at Ulta Beauty further shaped her career in HR leadership. As Director HR Business Partner – Corporate, she worked closely with the Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Merchandising Officer, and Chief Digital Officer to integrate people strategy with business growth objectives. She also co-led diversity and inclusion initiatives and developed enterprise-wide return-to-work and remote resources strategies.
Earlier in her career, Dina held senior HR and recruitment roles at Epsilon (Aspen Marketing Services), Career Education Corporation, and Baxter Healthcare, where she honed her expertise in talent acquisition, organizational design, and leadership development across multiple industries including healthcare, education, and retail.
With a career spanning over two decades, Dina is recognized for her strategic acumen, positivity, communication skills, and ability to build inclusive, high-performance cultures—qualities that will continue to drive her success in this new role.
