Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2026 — Lupin has promoted Divya Sharma to the position of Vice President, recognizing her significant contributions to strategic manufacturing transformation, operational excellence, quality enhancement, and enterprise-wide business transformation initiatives.
In her expanded leadership role, Divya will continue driving strategic manufacturing priorities across Lupin’s global operations, leading enterprise transformation programs focused on quality and regulatory excellence, manufacturing efficiency, cost leadership, operations excellence, digital transformation, and strategic project execution across the company’s India and international manufacturing network.
Prior to this promotion, Divya served as Senior General Manager – Head of Strategic Manufacturing Projects at Lupin, where she led several high-impact strategic initiatives across global manufacturing operations. Her responsibilities included delivering the company’s multi-year strategic manufacturing roadmap, leading operations excellence programs, managing formulation variation and manufacturing transfer projects, driving API cost optimization initiatives, and spearheading the enterprise-wide Quality First program across manufacturing sites in India and globally.
Before joining Lupin, Divya worked as a Senior Manager at Accenture, where she led complex transformation and operational improvement engagements for leading pharmaceutical and healthcare organizations. Her work included digital transformation initiatives, continuous manufacturing strategy, EBITDA improvement programs, cost optimization, and technology-enabled business transformation.
Earlier, she held leadership roles at PwC, progressing to Director after serving as Associate Director, where she advised organizations on strategic transformation, operational improvement, and business performance enhancement across multiple industries.
Prior to PwC, Divya served as Manager at Strategy&, part of the PwC network, where she led quality transformation, FDA readiness, regulatory compliance, project management, and manufacturing excellence initiatives for global pharmaceutical organizations.
She also spent four years as a Manager at PRTM, delivering strategic consulting engagements across pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, supply chain optimization, sourcing transformation, operational excellence, and quality management for multinational organizations.
Divya began her leadership journey at John Deere as Section Manager, where she managed strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier development, new product introduction, supply chain transformation, and operational improvement initiatives across global supplier networks.
With nearly two decades of experience spanning pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, strategy consulting, supply chain transformation, quality systems, operational excellence, and enterprise transformation, Divya has established herself as a leader in driving complex business and manufacturing transformation programs.
In her new role as Vice President, she will play a pivotal role in advancing Lupin’s global manufacturing strategy, strengthening operational capabilities, accelerating quality excellence, and supporting the company’s long-term growth and competitiveness.
