With over a decade of experience in HR and talent acquisition, Drake is poised to bring valuable expertise to the team, aiming to enhance the company’s HR strategies and initiatives.
Drake Gordon recently commenced his role as the Head of Human Resources at Engine Power Source, based in the Charlotte Metro area. In this position, Drake will oversee HR operations and drive initiatives to support the company’s growth and maintain its reputation as a leading distributor of industrial engines.
Before joining Engine Power Source, Drake spent over 11 years at Red Ventures, where he held multiple roles with increasing responsibility. His journey at Red Ventures began as a Recruiter in April 2013, where he excelled in sourcing and hiring top talent for the company. His success in this role led to his promotion to Senior Recruiter in February 2016, a position he held for two years and eight months.
In September 2018, Drake advanced to the role of Recruiting Manager, overseeing a team of recruiters and managing the recruitment process to ensure the acquisition of high-caliber candidates. His leadership and strategic vision were further recognized when he was appointed as the Director of Talent Acquisition in August 2021, a role in which he was responsible for leading the talent acquisition strategy across multiple locations.
In October 2022, Drake took on the role of Director of Human Resources at Red Ventures, where he led HR initiatives and programs to support employee engagement, development, and organizational growth. His contributions were pivotal in fostering a positive work culture and driving HR excellence across the organization.
Prior to his tenure at Red Ventures, Drake worked at Anteo Group for nearly four years. He started as a Talent Acquisition Specialist in August 2009, where he honed his skills in identifying and attracting top talent. He was later promoted to Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist in August 2010, a role he held until April 2013, demonstrating his capability in managing complex recruitment processes and building strong candidate pipelines.
