Istanbul, Türkiye, July 2025 – Ece Dogan has taken on a new role as Chief People Officer at Mars Athletic Club (MAC), advancing from her previous role as People & Culture Director. In this elevated position, Ece will lead the organization’s end-to-end people strategy, focusing on cultivating a high-performance culture, scaling talent development initiatives, and supporting MAC’s mission of promoting mental, emotional, and physical well-being across Türkiye.
Ece has been an integral part of Mars Athletic Club for over six years, having served as People & Culture Director since 2019. In this role, she played a pivotal part in shaping MAC’s workplace culture, leading transformation projects in talent acquisition, DEI, employee experience, and HR operations across the growing fitness network.
Prior to joining MAC, she worked with Caribou Coffee as HR Manager for more than three years, where she managed HR functions across 64 stores in Türkiye. Her responsibilities included recruitment, talent acquisition, organizational development, compensation, benefits, and compliance, reporting directly to the CHRO based in Kuwait.
Earlier in her career, Ece spent over 11 years at Ayakkabı Dünyası, where she held multiple HR leadership roles. As HR Manager, she led the company’s expansion from 13 to 45 stores, implemented the HAY grading system, and developed store-level performance and bonus frameworks. She also successfully managed the HR integration process during the company’s acquisition by Esas Holding.
Her early roles as Assistant HR Manager, HR Specialist, and Customer Relations Specialist gave her a strong foundation in frontline operations, talent development, and customer experience—shaping her holistic approach to people leadership today.
