Demenius, who has previously shone in his role as a board member and Chief Commercial Officer for over seven years, steps into the shoes of Žygimantas Surintas to lead the airline into a future brimming with potential.
Under the auspices of the Avia Solutions Group, SmartLynx has carved a niche for itself as a leading passenger and cargo ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) provider. From operating six A321 freighters in May last year, the fleet has grown to 10, with more additions on the horizon.

In the past year alone, SmartLynx has increased its fleet from 49 to 67 aircraft, with ambitious plans to reach a 100-aircraft milestone by 2026.
