Eilis Murphy Appointed as Vice President Human Resources at North & Warren

Bluffton, South Carolina, United States, June 2025 – Eilis Murphy has taken on the role of Vice President Human Resources at North & Warren, a leading global marketing agency specializing in luxury and high-net-worth audiences. Based in Bluffton, South Carolina, Eilis will lead people strategy and talent management, supporting the agency’s continued growth and innovation across its premium portfolio of clients and media properties.

Prior to joining North & Warren, Eilis Murphy served as Principal Human Resources Business Partner at Amazon in Savannah, Georgia, for over eight years. In this capacity, she was a strategic advisor to senior leadership for Amazon Devices Software and Alexa-AI, directly impacting over 1,300 employees across 14 countries. Eilis designed and implemented talent management solutions, spearheaded Diversity & Inclusion initiatives, and developed signature programs like TalentFuse to drive internal advancement and retention. Her work as a certified Amazon 360 coach and DISC trainer further elevated team cohesion and leadership capability.

Earlier, Eilis was Human Resources Director – Corporate at United Airlines in Chicago, Illinois, for nearly seven years, where she led a team of HR managers through complex business transformations, including the landmark United/Continental merger. She drove cultural integration, talent optimization, and process innovation that touched over 2,500 employees, and introduced advanced strategies for leader development, workforce analytics, and operational excellence.

Before United Airlines, Eilis Murphy was Human Resources Manager at Discover Financial Services in Riverwoods, IL, where she supported multiple corporate departments in performance management, change management, and talent assessment. Notably, she played a pivotal role in Discover’s HR Transformation, leading communications and employee development initiatives during a period of significant organizational change.

Earlier in her career, Eilis was Human Resources Manager at Fannie Mae in Washington, D.C., providing HR strategy and consulting to a division of 450 business technology professionals. She developed high-impact compensation, culture, and coaching initiatives that strengthened the organization’s resilience and talent pipeline. Her prior experience also includes HR leadership roles at Sears, Roebuck & Co. and International Paper Company.

Eilis holds both a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism and a Master’s in Human Resources & Industrial Relations from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
