Wooster, Ohio, United States, January 2025 – Evan Bahler has been promoted to the role of Vice President of Human Resources at The Village Network, where he will oversee the organization’s HR strategy and operations to support its mission of empowering at-risk youth and families.
Evan Bahler has been a valued team member at The Village Network for over eight years, progressing through multiple roles in the HR department. Most recently, he served as Director of Human Resources, where he led strategic initiatives, enhanced HR processes, and supported organizational growth for nearly four years.

Before that, Evan held the role of Human Resources Manager, managing employee relations and operational HR functions for two years. His earlier tenure includes responsibilities as HR Coordinator for Employee and Union Relations, Recruitment, Retention, and Onboarding, as well as Benefits & HRIS Coordinator, showcasing his comprehensive expertise across various HR functions.
Evan’s career in HR began with experiences such as serving as an HR Assistant at Tree of Life Books, where he led an I-9 audit and assisted with ACA compliance, and as an HR Intern at Ventrac by Venture Products Inc., where he focused on recruitment. Additionally, he developed his leadership and interpersonal skills as a Summer Camp Counselor at Beulah Beach Camp & Retreat Center.
