Columbia, Maryland, United States, April 2025 – Evonne McCabe-Brown has stepped into a new role as Sr. Director, Human Resources at Certis Biologicals. In this position, Evonne will lead the company’s human resources strategy, focusing on enhancing organizational culture, talent development, compliance, and employee engagement to support Certis Biologicals’ global growth and sustainability goals.
Prior to this appointment, Evonne McCabe-Brown served as Senior Director, Human Resources at Certis Biologicals for over six years, where she played a pivotal role in advancing HR practices, driving workforce development initiatives, and strengthening HR operations across the company’s expanding footprint.
Earlier, Evonne worked as Director, Human Resources at Keany Produce Co., where she led HR operations supporting a growing produce distribution business. Before that, she served for nearly eight years as Director, Human Resources at Canada Dry Potomac Corp, where she provided regional HR oversight for four unionized facilities, managing employee relations, compliance, recruitment, safety, and DOT regulations.
Evonne also honed her expertise at Smithfield Foods as a Human Resources Manager, followed by a significant role at Alameda County Medical Center as a Compensation Manager, where she gained strong foundational experience in compensation, compliance, and employee engagement programs.
