Catherine Corrigan, CEO of Exponent, expressed her enthusiasm about Kundert’s appointment, highlighting the significance of his leadership qualities to the organization. “Attracting Brian to Exponent is a source of great pride for me, and I am grateful to all of our employees for creating the kind of unrivaled environment that can entice this level of leadership talent,” said Corrigan.

In his capacity as CHRO, Kundert is charged with overseeing the recruitment, development, and engagement strategies for Exponent’s distinguished employee base. His goals include enhancing the company’s organizational culture with an emphasis on inclusion and opportunity, all while upholding the highest standards of professional excellence that Exponent is known for.

Kundert’s journey to Exponent began in July 2023, before which he made significant contributions to Arcadis as the Global People Director for the Resilience Business Line. His leadership was pivotal in developing HR strategies that propelled the division to become one of Arcadis’ most successful and profitable entities, spanning over 36,000 employees across more than 30 countries.

His tenure at Arcadis also included a notable period from 2014 to 2021 as the Director of Human Resources for North America. Kundert’s innovative approaches to HR management led to substantial organizational improvements, including the implementation of scalable recruitment practices, the automation of processes, and the establishment of a formal Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion strategy.

Kundert’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, further enriching his comprehensive understanding of human resources management and organizational behavior.
