Mexico City, April 2024 – Levi Strauss & Co. is proud to announce that Fabiola Luna has been appointed as the new Senior Director of Human Resources for Latin America. With a robust background in human resources spanning over 15 years, Fabiola brings a wealth of experience and a strategic vision to her new role at this iconic apparel company.
Before joining Levi Strauss & Co., Fabiola served as the Country Head of Human Resources for Mexico, Ecuador, and Guatemala at BIC from December 2020 to May 2024. In this role, she was responsible for multiple strategic initiatives including team management and situational leadership across different countries, enhancing her expertise in managing diverse and geographically dispersed teams.
From May 2017 to October 2019, Fabiola was a Senior Human Resources Business Partner for IT Latin America at L’Oréal. Here, she oversaw HR processes for IT employees across nine countries, managing over 300 staff members. Her achievements included leading change management strategies and developing a new IT shared service structure for the Americas, significantly enhancing operational efficiencies and employee engagement across the region.
Prior to L’Oréal, Fabiola was deeply involved in Learning for Development as the Head for the Hispanic American Zone from October 2015 to May 2017. Her focus was on integrating business priorities with learning and development strategies, which included rolling out targeted training and development actions tailored to the needs of the region.
Fabiola’s earlier roles also include significant positions at PepsiCo and Mattel, where she led HR initiatives focused on organizational design, talent acquisition, and change management. Her extensive experience in these roles prepared her well for her leadership positions in human resources across various multinational corporations.
