New York, United States, December 2024 – Fey S. has been named the Chief People Officer at Kredete, a fintech platform specializing in cross-border payments and credit-building solutions for African immigrants. Fey brings a wealth of experience in people operations, recruitment, and organizational management, making her a valuable asset to Kredete’s mission of empowering the diaspora community.
Fey has been part of Kredete since November 2022, serving as the Head of People Operations, where she led key functions in People & Culture, customer experience, and marketing. She played a pivotal role in managing the HRIS, HCM, and payroll systems, while also driving recruitment, onboarding processes, and diversity initiatives. Notably, Fey contributed to investor relations, assisting in the successful closure of Kredete’s seed funding round.
In addition to her work at Kredete, Fey founded AxL Recruiting, a tech recruiting company connecting African tech talent to global early-stage founders. She also gained freelance experience as a Recruiter at Cross Path, focusing on talent acquisition across technology, IT, healthcare, and operations sectors in Europe and the U.S. Earlier in her career, Fey honed her HR expertise as the Human Resources Manager at OCI Travels and Tourism, where she built and managed teams across multiple regions.
Fey’s early professional roles include experiences at Uber as an Onboarding Coordinator, where she significantly improved operational efficiency, and as an Executive Assistant at Oreola Trading Services, where she managed customer relations and administrative tasks.
