Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, June 2026 — Flair Airlines has appointed Wadeed Mian as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO), marking a significant leadership addition as the airline continues to strengthen its technology, cybersecurity, and digital operations capabilities. With nearly two decades of experience spanning information technology, cybersecurity, cloud security, digital transformation, and enterprise operations, Wadeed brings a proven track record of leading high-performing technology organizations across multiple industries.
Prior to his appointment as CIO, Wadeed served as Director, Digital Operations at Flair Airlines, where he played a key role in advancing the airline’s digital infrastructure and operational technology initiatives. His elevation reflects the company’s confidence in his ability to drive technology innovation, strengthen digital resilience, and support Flair’s growth strategy in an increasingly technology-driven aviation landscape.
Before joining Flair Airlines, Wadeed held leadership positions across some of the world’s most respected organizations. At Amazon Web Services (AWS), he served as Manager, Application Security Review, overseeing critical security initiatives and helping strengthen cloud security frameworks. He also briefly served as VP of Cybersecurity Platform and Operations at iSecurity, a Calian company, where he contributed to cybersecurity strategy and operational excellence.
A significant part of his career was spent at ISA Cybersecurity, where he progressed through multiple senior leadership roles over more than a decade. As CTO and VP of Digital Forensics & Incident Response, he led cybersecurity innovation, incident response capabilities, and digital transformation programs. Earlier roles included Vice President, Technical Services Delivery, Director of Security Operations Centre, and Senior Security Engineer, providing him with deep expertise across security operations, cloud security, digital forensics, and enterprise technology management.
Earlier in his career, Wadeed held technology and security leadership roles at Scotiabank, The Herjavec Group, Sensible Security Solutions, and Cara Operations, building a strong foundation in technical security services, managed security operations, consulting, and enterprise IT systems. Throughout his professional journey, he has consistently demonstrated the ability to lead complex technology environments, drive innovation, and deliver secure, scalable solutions that support business growth.
In his new role as Chief Information Officer, Wadeed will be responsible for shaping Flair Airlines’ technology vision, strengthening cybersecurity and digital capabilities, and supporting the airline’s continued commitment to operational excellence and customer experience.
