Torre del Greco, Campania, Italy, November 2025 – Banca di Credito Popolare, one of Southern Italy’s leading cooperative banks, has appointed Francesca Sessa as Head of People Management, Development & Training. In her new role, Francesca will lead the bank’s people strategy—aligning HR initiatives with organizational objectives, driving talent development, and fostering a culture of inclusion, engagement, and continuous learning. She will also oversee all core HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, training, compensation, and organizational development.
Before joining Banca di Credito Popolare, Francesca spent more than eight years at Banca Monte Pruno – Cassa Centrale Banca, where she served as Organization and Human Resources Manager. During her tenure, she designed and implemented HR policies and frameworks in alignment with the parent company’s strategic direction, strengthened talent pipelines, and led organizational change efforts to enhance productivity and compliance.
Previously, Francesca worked as Human Resources Manager at Banca del Credito Cooperativo – BCC Fisciano, where she established the HR department from the ground up. She was instrumental in defining the department’s mission, implementing recruitment and training systems, and creating a performance-oriented work culture that aligned with the bank’s business goals.
Her earlier experience includes serving as Human Resources Generalist at Venere.com – Expedia Inc, where she managed workforce planning, performance appraisals, and development initiatives across EMEA regions. She also handled compensation and benefits and collaborated with global leadership on organizational development and training strategies.
Francesca began her HR career at Firema Trasporti, where she specialized in training and development, career planning, and HR processes within engineering functions. She later expanded her expertise through recruitment consulting roles at Page Personnel, Manpower Professional, and Michael Page International, where she managed large-scale recruitment projects and client advisory assignments.
