Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, September 2025 — Garima Bihani has been appointed as BCOE Head – Talent, Learning, Organization Effectiveness at UltraTech Cement. In her new role, she will focus on advancing leadership development, capability building, and organizational effectiveness initiatives across the company.
Garima has been with UltraTech Cement for more than eight years, taking on increasingly impactful leadership positions. Most recently, she served as HR Head – RMC and Key Accounts, where she led people strategies, workforce engagement, and transformation across critical business verticals. Earlier, she was Program Manager – Mergers & Acquisitions, where she played a central role in integrating people processes during the merger of UltraTech Cement and Century Textiles’ Cement Division, ensuring smooth transitions for thousands of employees.
She also served as Manager – Employee Relations at Dhar Cement Works, where she contributed to the successful completion of a greenfield project by ensuring compliance, building welfare frameworks, and driving workforce engagement for nearly 30,000 contract workers. Prior to that, she handled another Program Manager – M&A assignment, managing post-acquisition integration for one of the largest manufacturing industry deals of the decade, with responsibility for aligning the employee lifecycle of more than 10,000 employees.
Before joining UltraTech Cement, Garima began her career as a Human Resource Leadership Associate with Aditya Birla Group, working across Aditya Birla Management Corporation, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail, and Novelis in India and the United States. She also gained early career experience as an Executive – Finance for Airtel Africa Operations, where she worked on financial consolidations for multiple operating companies.
Garima holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management from the Management Development Institute, Gurgaon.
