Philadelphia, PA and Princeton, NJ, United States, December 2024 – Genevieve Chaney has joined Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System, as Director of the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). In her new role, Genevieve will focus on enhancing employee well-being, fostering a supportive workplace culture, and delivering strategic mental health and assistance services across the health system’s network.
Genevieve brings over two decades of experience in psychological evaluation, mental health leadership, and consulting. She has maintained a private practice for 21 years, specializing in psychological evaluations for child welfare and juvenile justice systems, forensic assessments, and treatment planning.

Previously, Genevieve served as Director of Mental Health at Meliora Health, where she oversaw strategic initiatives to improve mental health services. She also spent 10 years as Director of Behavioral Health Forensic Evaluation Center (BHFEC) at PMHCC, where she established and led a busy evaluation center providing independent psychological and psychiatric assessments for court-involved individuals.
Genevieve’s career includes roles as a Psychologist Advisor for Community Behavioral Health, where she collaborated with city systems to improve behavioral health services for Medicaid recipients, and as a Consulting Psychologist at Trinity Counseling Service, where she worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families while leading community-based initiatives.
