Kampala, Central Region, Uganda, July 2024 – Geofrey Mulangira has taken on the role of Head of Human Resources at Nakasero Hospital. With extensive experience in human resources management, Geofrey brings valuable expertise to the hospital, aiming to enhance HR initiatives and foster a culture of excellence.
Geofrey Mulangira joins Nakasero Hospital after serving as Human Resource Manager at Mengo Hospital for approximately 5 years and 7 months. In this role, he was responsible for partnering with the business to design, develop, and implement strategies to attract, engage, and develop employees, thereby building a high-performance culture.
Prior to that, Geofrey was the HR and Administration Manager at Kiwoko Hospital for around 5 years and 7 months. His responsibilities included managing employee benefits design, HR strategy, and human resource planning.
Geofrey also worked as an HR Manager at Saracen Uganda Limited for approximately 2 years and 5 months. Here, he supported the management and board of directors in developing and implementing HR practices that established the company as a leader in Uganda’s private security industry.
Earlier in his career, Geofrey was a Human Resource Assistant at Rakai Health Sciences Program (RHSP) for about 2 years and 1 month. In this role, he assisted in recruitment and selection, staff training and development, and ensuring organizational compliance with HR policies and regulatory requirements.
Nakasero Hospital is a purpose-built tertiary level hospital located in the upscale area of Nakasero, offering 24-hour services under a one-stop center model. The hospital provides comprehensive medical services and is dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare to its patients.
