In this role, she will lead strategic talent acquisition initiatives, advance diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs, and drive workforce innovation to support the company’s mission of delivering cutting-edge diabetes management solutions.
Gioia has been with Tandem Diabetes Care for over seven years, where she has played a pivotal role in enhancing recruitment strategies and embedding DEI into talent operations. Most recently, she served as Director, Talent Acquisition, driving workforce planning and employer branding efforts. Prior to that, as Director, Talent Operations & DEI, she strengthened the company’s HR processes and built diversity-driven hiring initiatives. She also held leadership roles as Associate Director, Boise Site Head, and Manager, Talent Acquisition, contributing to scalable hiring and inclusive culture development.
Before joining Tandem Diabetes Care, Gioia worked at Mindbody as a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, where she helped optimize recruitment workflows and supported talent expansion. She was instrumental in identifying top talent and streamlining hiring processes to support the company’s rapid growth.
Earlier in her career, Gioia held key HR and talent roles at Road Runner Sports, Managed Solution, and Ace Parking, where she gained expertise in recruitment strategy, talent development, and HR operations. She played an essential role in enhancing employer branding and implementing workforce engagement initiatives at these organizations.
