Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, June 2026 — Tanja Stevanovic has taken on the role of Vice President and Business Unit Director, Vaccines at GSK Australia, marking another significant milestone in a distinguished career spanning more than two decades with the organization.
In her new role, Tanja will lead GSK’s Vaccines business in Australia, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to advance access to innovative vaccines and help protect more Australians from infectious diseases. The appointment also represents her tenth role within GSK, reflecting a remarkable journey of leadership, growth, and contribution across multiple commercial and strategic functions.
Having spent over 20 years with GSK, Tanja most recently served as Business Unit Director – Respiratory, where she led the respiratory portfolio and contributed to business growth, commercial excellence, and strategic execution across the Australian market.
Prior to that, she served as Director, Customer Experience and Operations, where she was a member of the Executive Leadership Team and led commercial strategy and operations across multiple business functions, including business insights, digital marketing, omnichannel acceleration, sales capabilities, commercial operations, and employee health and safety.
Earlier in her GSK career, Tanja held several senior leadership positions including Head of Commercial Excellence, Head of Ethics & Compliance ANZ, Sales Business Leader, and National Sales Manager – Oncology & Haematology. Across these roles, she played a pivotal role in strengthening commercial effectiveness, leading large sales organizations, driving organizational transformation, and fostering high-performance teams.
She also gained extensive experience in brand and marketing leadership through roles including Senior Brand Manager – Osteoporosis, Brand Manager – Respiratory, and Associate Brand Manager – Retail Brands, contributing to successful product launches, customer engagement strategies, and portfolio growth initiatives.
Before joining GSK, Tanja spent over five years with Organon, where she served as Senior Key Account Manager – Fertility and Medical Representative – Women’s Health, building strong expertise in healthcare, customer engagement, and pharmaceutical sales.
With extensive experience across vaccines, respiratory care, oncology, compliance, customer experience, sales leadership, and commercial strategy, Tanja brings a well-rounded perspective to her new position. Her deep understanding of the healthcare landscape and proven leadership capabilities position her strongly to drive the continued growth and impact of GSK’s vaccines business in Australia.
