Jersey City, New Jersey, United States – November 2024 – Hannah Nelson has been appointed as Director, People – Commercial for Anheuser-Busch, supporting the company’s Northeast Region from her base in Jersey City. In her new role, Nelson will partner with the commercial sales team to drive people strategies that enhance performance, engagement, and growth across the region.
Nelson brings over five years of diverse HR experience with Anheuser-Busch. Before this role, she served as the People (HR) Business Partner for the AB ONE Boston Wholesaler, where she supported a team of 220 employees, including union and non-union members. Her work was instrumental in fostering labor relations across multiple collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) and enhancing leadership and career development initiatives within AB ONE Boston and the national network.
Earlier, Nelson held the position of People Specialist at Anheuser-Busch’s Corporate Finance Team for North America, where she executed engagement plans that significantly boosted annual satisfaction scores. She also developed a mid-career Finance Training Program aimed at strengthening the leadership pipeline within Corporate Finance.
Nelson’s journey with Anheuser-Busch began as a People Supervisor at a Boston distribution center, where she managed various HR functions, including labor negotiations and national recruiting. She further honed her expertise as a People Trainee in Saint Louis, Missouri, where she contributed to the rollout of Anaplan software, optimizing data and budget processes.
