Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, October 2025 – dentsu, a leading global marketing, media, and digital transformation network, has announced the appointment of Harini Muralidharan, GPHR as Cluster HR Director – India, Finance Services & India Business Platforms. In her expanded leadership role, Harini oversees operations across India and Sri Lanka, driving commercial growth, leading global finance services, and steering cross-functional initiatives for the India Business Platforms teams.
With more than two decades of HR leadership experience, Harini has been a pivotal force in aligning people strategy with business transformation. Prior to this role, she served as Human Resources Director at dentsu, leading HR strategy for Global Financial Services and Transformation teams. Her tenure at dentsu has been marked by her efforts in strengthening organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and change management, while embedding a performance-driven and people-first culture across the South Asia region.
Before joining dentsu, Harini Muralidharan served as Head of People Business Partnering at Tesco, where she led HR strategy for multiple business portfolios including Finance, Property, Analytics, Customer & Product, and Technology. Under her leadership, Tesco Bengaluru achieved a remarkable leap in its Great Place to Work ranking, moving from beyond the top 200 to among the Top 25 workplaces in India, a milestone that positioned the company as an employer of choice.
At Juniper Networks, she served as Senior Director HRBP, leading the Bengaluru site and driving initiatives that reduced attrition, improved compensation frameworks, and strengthened inclusion. Her work with engineering and customer advocacy teams contributed to a 16% improvement in early-career retention and a 12% increase in engagement scores, reflecting her ability to translate HR strategy into measurable business impact.
Earlier, as Bangalore Site HR Head and HRBP for R&D at Ericsson India, Harini partnered with global stakeholders across the US, UK, Hungary, and Sweden to enhance organizational design, talent strategy, and leadership pipelines. She was also instrumental in the company’s Great Place to Work journey, helping Ericsson India secure rankings within the Top 100 in 2015 and further advancing to Top 50 in 2016.
Before these leadership roles, she held key HR positions at NetApp, Infosys, and EY, with additional experience at Hewlett Packard and two technology startups. Her roles spanned HR business partnering, organization development, total rewards, and executive compensation, giving her an end-to-end perspective on workforce strategy and transformation.
Harini holds a Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) certification and has consistently demonstrated excellence in business partnering, organizational effectiveness, and leadership development across industries including IT, retail, telecom, and digital transformation.
