Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, January 2026 — Hittendrra Patil has started a new role as Assistant Vice President at Syngene International Limited. In his current mandate at Syngene, Hittendrra Patil leads strategic sourcing for raw materials, where he has been instrumental in developing category management strategies to enhance functional performance and organizational growth. His responsibilities include establishing a robust supplier ecosystem through comprehensive due diligence, strengthening India-based sourcing to ensure supply security, and implementing alternate vendor and material strategies to reduce product costs while supporting business-unit requirements.

Prior to his elevation at Syngene, Hittendrra served as Assistant Vice President at Innovassynth Technologies (I) Ltd., where he led end-to-end supply chain management. During this tenure, he implemented cost-reduction initiatives through alternate sourcing strategies and managed the organization’s largest CAPEX expansion, creating a state-of-the-art R&D facility in Mumbai.

Before that, he spent several years with Navin Fluorine International Ltd., progressing from Deputy General Manager to General Manager, heading the supply chain management function for the CRAMS business. His work included developing category strategies, introducing Indian vendors during RFQ processes, and building a repeatable procurement ecosystem for raw materials.

Earlier in his career, Hittendrra was associated with Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories in global strategic sourcing and procurement roles, where he focused on cost optimization, risk mitigation, supplier development, and support for new product development and launches. He began his professional journey in commercial procurement with Cipla Ltd, managing large-scale import procurement for APIs, intermediates, and specialized packaging materials across domestic and export operations.
