Huntington Bank Appoints Timothy Miller as Chief Communications Officer

COLUMBUS, OHIO, United States, September, 2024 — Huntington National Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Timothy Miller as Executive Vice President and Chief Communications Officer (CCO). In his new role, Miller will join Huntington’s executive leadership team and spearhead the bank’s comprehensive corporate communications efforts. He will oversee strategic communications planning and manage all aspects of internal and external communications, including media relations, crisis communications, and executive communications, directly reporting to Steve Steinour, Chairman, President, and CEO.

Based in Huntington’s regional corporate office in Charlotte, North Carolina, Miller brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record from his time at PNC Bank, where he led various critical communications initiatives. His expertise in navigating complex organizational landscapes during periods of significant growth and transformation will be instrumental as Huntington seeks to enhance colleague engagement, safeguard its reputation, and expand its customer base.

“Tim’s extensive background in communications across several major banks and his role in advising high-level government officials make him exceptionally well-suited to lead our communications efforts,” stated Steve Steinour. “We are excited to have him on board and look forward to the strategic direction he will bring to Huntington.”

Prior to his role at PNC Bank, Miller held senior communications positions at Bank of America, Brighthouse Financial, and 3D Systems, and served as a communications advisor to the Prime Minister of Greece. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Haverford College and a master’s degree in communications innovation from Ithaca College. Miller is also an active member of the community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Charlotte Arts and Science Council.
