IIMB’s new BBA program leverages its expertise in teaching entrepreneurship, delivering online management education, and its strengths in AI and analytics. “We have crafted the program with a strategic focus on accessibility and affordability,” stated IIMB Director, Prof. Rishikesha Krishnan.

Program Details and Admission Criteria

The program features an entrance test and requires a minimum of 60% in Std. 12th for eligibility, with a targeted intake of 1000 students. Applications open on June 15, 2024. More details can be found at: IIMB DBE Program.

Curriculum Design and Delivery

IIMB, recognized nationally and globally as a leader in management education (NIRF rank #1 in Management & National Coordinator in Management for SWAYAM), will design and deliver a curriculum focused on management in Year 1 and entrepreneurship and digital business in Years 2 and 3. The program adopts an integrated model across digital technology, entrepreneurship, and business management.

Aligned with the National Education Policy and UGC Guidelines, the program uses a stackable approach with specific outcomes at the end of each year: a Certificate in Year 1, a Diploma in Year 2, and a BBA Degree in Year 3. Creative mechanisms will sustain engagement and flexibility in digital learning.

About the BBA Program

The Bachelor of Business Administration in Digital Business and Entrepreneurship (BBA DBE) program integrates digital technology, business management, and entrepreneurship to train leaders for the digital business world. The curriculum emphasizes digital strategies and entrepreneurial practices, offering live sessions, mentorship, and hands-on projects for practical experience. The program aims to create equal opportunities for learners from diverse backgrounds and regions, allowing them to continue their current activities without needing to relocate or disrupt their lives. Networking opportunities are central, with chances to collaborate and connect with professionals to enhance career prospects. This first-of-its-kind program combines digital and in-person interactions to build a community and promote professional growth in a dynamic environment.
