Boston, Massachusetts, United States, September 2024 – Irini Fotopulos has been appointed as Head of Human Resources at Seaport Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on neuropsychiatric medicines. Irini will lead the HR strategy, focusing on talent development, organizational growth, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence as the company advances its clinical programs.
Before joining Seaport Therapeutics, Irini worked as an HR/Organizational Consultant for nine months, helping various organizations with strategic HR and organizational development projects.
Prior to that, Irini served as Interim Head of HR at Forma Therapeutics for seven months, where she provided leadership in human resources operations and was later promoted to Senior Director of HR, where she played a critical role in organizational development and leadership coaching.
Irini’s longest tenure was at Epizyme, where she spent over eight years in various HR leadership roles, including Senior Director of People & Culture, Director of HR & Organizational Development, and HR Business Partner. During her time at Epizyme, she managed change management processes, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
Her early career in HR began with roles at Guidewire Software, Boston Children’s Hospital, and Community Catalyst, where she honed her skills in HR operations and employee engagement.
