Dubai, United Arab Emirates, January 2026 — Samana Group of Companies has appointed Jamil Daouk as Group Head Human Resources, strengthening its people leadership as the group continues to scale across its diversified businesses. In his new role, Jamil will lead the group’s HR agenda, with a focus on building strong governance, strengthening capability and performance systems, and enabling a consistent people experience across Samana’s multiple SBUs spanning business management, immigration services, and real estate investment and development.
With deep HR leadership experience across the UAE, Jamil brings a track record of driving high-volume hiring, retention, and culture transformation—particularly in complex, project-based and multi-location environments.
Before joining Samana Group of Companies, Jamil Daouk served as Head of Human Resources at Bond Interiors, where he led a diverse HR team of 30 professionals supporting a workforce of 2,500+ employees across seven international locations including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, the Philippines, India, China, and Italy. In this role, he championed cultural transformation toward a fair, goal-oriented environment with a strong focus on employee retention, while delivering 1,200 hires in nine months—including 500 staff and 700 blue-collar workers—supported by targeted retention strategies.
Prior to Bond Interiors, he was Director of HR & Operations at Sankari Properties for over two years in Dubai, overseeing support functions including operations, customer experience, procurement, marketing, IT talent acquisition, and HR. His portfolio supported a fast-evolving business environment and complex stakeholder expectations typical of a new entrant in Dubai’s real estate landscape.
Earlier, Jamil worked with DAMAC Properties as Director, Talent Acquisition, leading a team of five and driving process enhancements to improve candidate experience and hiring effectiveness. His mandate covered executive search and high-volume recruitment across multiple corporate and group functions, and included several senior leadership placements.
He also spent close to four years at Emaar, first as Manager, Talent Acquisition and later as Regional Senior Manager, HR Business Partner (Engineering, Malls, Corporate & International), reporting to the Group CHRO. In that capacity, he led HRBP coverage across geographies including the UAE, China, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan, managing a people portfolio of approximately 1,400 employees and supporting strategic priorities such as organization design, succession planning, retention, and performance systems.
Earlier in his career, Jamil held talent acquisition and recruiting roles with Al Tayer Group, Align (including an outsourced recruiter role supporting Tyco International), Morganti Group Inc, and Bayt.com, and began his professional journey with adidas, where he progressed from sales into an Assistant Manager role.
