Bouwmeester has been with Nedap since early 2024, where he led the Centre of Expertise for People, Talent & Leadership. During this period, he played a pivotal role in building leadership capability, driving performance management, and accelerating people development, paving the way for his elevation to Chief People Officer.

Alongside his role at Nedap, he also founded BuildMaster Talent Solutions, a consultancy dedicated to accelerating people, culture, and leadership. Before this, he spent four years at Vanderlande, where he served as Global Director CoE for Talent, Learning & Leadership. There, he managed an international team spanning EMEA, North America, and APAC, and worked closely with global business leaders to shape learning and leadership solutions.

Earlier in his career, Bouwmeester served as Group Head of Learning & Organizational Development at Royal De Heus. In this role, he was instrumental in leading global learning initiatives, leadership acceleration programs, and talent management strategies that supported the company’s international growth and transformation agenda.

His earlier professional journey includes impactful years as Program Director & Consultant Leadership & Organizational Development at Boertien Vergouwen Overduin, as well as academic experience at Saxion University of Applied Sciences, where he lectured in business administration and governance, and at SHL, where he worked as an Assessment Psychologist. These roles reflect his strong foundation in both consulting and academia, which continue to influence his leadership style today.

Bouwmeester holds a Master of Science in Industrial & Organizational Psychology from the University of Twente, equipping him with the academic expertise to complement his extensive professional experience.
