Burlington, Ontario, Canada, June 2025 – Joseph Brant Hospital & Foundation has announced the appointment of Jane Albright as Vice President People and Culture, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In her new role, Jane will lead the hospital’s people strategy, championing a culture of compassion, inclusion, and performance while ensuring exemplary service for the hospital’s staff, volunteers, and the broader community.
Jane Albright brings over two decades of diverse human resources leadership to Joseph Brant Hospital & Foundation. Most recently, she served as Chief Human Resources Officer at the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA), where she led the design and execution of HR strategy and operational excellence, focusing on building a highly engaged and resilient workforce for Ontario’s regulatory authority.
Previously, Jane contributed as Part-time Faculty at Conestoga College and as VP of Human Resources (Interim) at GreenFirst Forest Products, driving talent management, policy development, and executive recruitment in both the academic and industrial sectors. Her expertise in workforce planning and cultural transformation has supported organizations during periods of significant growth and change.
Earlier in her career, Jane held the position of Commissioner, Human Resources and Citizen Service for the Region of Waterloo, where she led all facets of HR management, collective bargaining, talent development, wellness, and emergency management for a large municipal organization. She also played key leadership roles within the Ontario Government, including Director-level positions in Corporate Management, Strategic Business Units, Service Management, and Human Resources Coordination across several ministries.
Jane’s experience is further enhanced by her hands-on work in organizational development, strategic business planning, labour relations, diversity and inclusion, and service excellence for both the public sector and broader healthcare community.
