Monticello, New York, United States, November 2025 – Resorts World Catskills, part of the globally renowned Resorts World hospitality and gaming brand, has announced the appointment of Jasmine Bonnell as Vice President of Finance for its Catskills, Hudson Valley, and Monticello Raceway properties. In this leadership role, Jasmine will oversee financial strategy, operations, and compliance across multiple locations, ensuring fiscal excellence and operational efficiency as the company continues to expand its footprint in the luxury gaming and entertainment sector.

Before joining Resorts World, Jasmine Bonnell served as Senior Director of Finance at Owensboro Racing & Gaming, where she led financial presentation, regulatory coordination, and post-acquisition integration for racing and gaming operations. She managed property-level finance for multiple projects, including the development of the new Owensboro location, while driving efficiencies across audit, purchasing, and revenue management functions.

Prior to that, she worked as Director of Finance at Churchill Downs Incorporated – Oak Grove Racing, Gaming, & Hotel, overseeing general ledger operations, internal control environments, and annual budgeting. Her focus on accuracy, transparency, and operational efficiency positioned the finance team as a strategic partner in organizational growth.

Jasmine also served as Controller at Build Nashville LLC, where she managed compliance, capital utilization, and financial benchmarking for real estate and construction projects. Her earlier professional background includes audit roles at LBMC and RSM US LLP, where she specialized in healthcare and employee benefit plan audits, developing expertise in financial analysis, business controls, and regulatory compliance.

Her early career experience includes working as a Criminal Analyst at INTERPOL Washington and CGI, where she represented the U.S. on biometric and fugitive investigations, contributing to national and international law enforcement collaboration — an experience that strengthened her analytical rigor and attention to detail.

Prior to joining Apollo, Matt was Chief Talent Officer at BlackRock as well as a member of the Operating Committee. Previously, he held strategy, talent, and innovation roles at Mastercard, PwC, and CEB/Gartner.

Matt holds a BA in Economics from the University of Southern California, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the boards of the Lumina Foundation, the Aspen Institute’s Business and Society program, the Milken Institute’s Inclusive Capitalism initiative, and Georgetown University’s initiative on AI, Analytics, and the Future of Work. He is the co-author of numerous Harvard Business School case studies and articles on leadership. Matt has been recognized as a Top Global CHRO multiple times by n2Growth and Stanford Business School.
