Sarasota, Florida, United States, September 2024 – JJ Girt has stepped into the role of Director of Talent Acquisition Excellence at Xylem, where they will lead global talent acquisition strategies aimed at optimizing recruitment processes and supporting the company’s mission to address the world’s water challenges.
Before this appointment, JJ Girt was a Sr. Manager, Talent Programs at Evoqua for nearly three years. During this time, JJ led a hybrid team of 10 recruiting professionals and spearheaded talent attraction strategies, college recruiting, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. Their role was pivotal in driving Evoqua’s global talent acquisition efforts.
Prior to that, JJ served as a Senior Manager of Human Resources, where they were responsible for supporting three major business units with over 800 employees. They contributed to the development of talent strategies for multiple $100M+ business units.
At ProAct Services, JJ worked as the Director of Human Resources and played a key role in leading the organization through its acquisition by Evoqua. JJ’s leadership was instrumental in creating an environment that fostered high employee engagement and successful change management.
Earlier in their career, JJ served as the Human Resources Director at Harding Group Inc., where they implemented key initiatives such as a self-funded insurance plan and a 401K employer contribution program, resulting in significant cost savings and efficiency improvements.
