Toronto, Ontario, Canada, January 2025 – Jodi Lieberman has joined DSEL – David Schaeffer Engineering Ltd. as the Chief of People, Culture, and Brand Strategy. In her new role, Jodi will drive strategic initiatives to enhance organizational culture and strengthen DSEL’s brand identity, aligning with the firm’s innovative mission in subdivision engineering. Her responsibilities include fostering a people-first approach, elevating employee engagement, and positioning DSEL as a market leader in residential land development engineering across Canada.
Before joining DSEL, Jodi served at CAPREIT for over 16 years, culminating as Chief People, Culture & Brand Officer, where she partnered with the CEO to execute strategic transformation programs, led DEIB initiatives, and spearheaded ESG strategy implementation. Her efforts resulted in enhanced employee engagement and positioning CAPREIT as one of Canada’s top employers.

Earlier in her tenure at CAPREIT, Jodi held pivotal roles such as Chief Human Resources Officer and Vice President of Human Resources, where she designed leadership programs, drove international expansion, and implemented industry-first HR technologies.
Jodi’s prior experience includes leadership roles at StorageMart, Bentall Kennedy, and TELUS Mobility, where she established HR frameworks, led mergers, and implemented innovative solutions that drove organizational growth and efficiency.
