United States, May 2024 – Jose G. has been appointed as the Head of Human Resources & People Ops at Standard Fiber. With a wealth of experience in HR operations, compliance, and strategic HR leadership, Jose will lead the HR functions to support Standard Fiber’s continued growth and innovation in the home bedding and textile industry.
Jose’s most recent role was as Human Resources Director at Lakeview Cheese Products, LLC for approximately one year. In this position, he led recruitment processes across multiple states, built positive employee relations, and developed and implemented HR policies and safety programs. He was recognized for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and successfully deploying a new HRIS and payroll system.
Before that, Jose served as Human Resources Manager at Lakeview Cheese Products for about five months. He played a key role in managing HR operations, compensation administration, payroll, and employee relations.
From there, Jose held the position of Human Resources Analyst at the Southern Nevada Health District for approximately nine months. He directed a broad range of HR operations, including new hire orientation, annual open enrollment, and FMLA programs, and provided education and resources for employees.

Jose’s earlier roles include working as a Benefits Technician at the Las Vegas Valley Water District for about three years, where he coordinated new hire orientations and open enrollment events, and managed benefits for employees and retirees. He also worked as a Human Resources Consultant at Marcelo’s Business Services for over ten years, overseeing various HR activities and developing policies and programs to meet business needs. Additionally, he served as a Human Resources Technician at Mohave County for nearly three years, performing HR tasks such as screening applications, hiring candidates, and managing employee benefits programs.
