London, United Kingdom, July 2026 – Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) has announced the appointment of Josh Littman as Head of Development – Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Based in London, Josh will lead the Group’s development and expansion strategy across the region, focusing on identifying and securing new hotel and branded residence opportunities for The Langham, Cordis, Eaton, and Ying’nFlo brands.
In his new role, Josh will support Langham Hospitality Group’s ambitious growth plans across key gateway cities and resort destinations throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. His appointment comes as the company continues to build momentum through landmark projects including The Langham, Venice and The Langham, Diriyah, while strengthening its presence in the global luxury hospitality market.
Commenting on the appointment, Bob van den Oord, Chief Executive Officer of Langham Hospitality Group, noted that opportunities across the EMEA region continue to expand and highlighted Josh’s broad experience in hospitality development and investment advisory as a strong asset in driving the Group’s next phase of growth.
Prior to joining Langham Hospitality Group, Josh Littman served as Vice President of Development – EMEA at Starwood Hotels, where he was responsible for driving the growth of renowned luxury lifestyle brands including Baccarat Hotels, 1 Hotels, and Treehouse Hotels across major urban and resort destinations throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. During his tenure, he played a key role in identifying new development opportunities and expanding the company’s regional footprint.
Before Starwood, Josh held the position of Head of Luxury Development (Europe) at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG). In this role, he focused on expanding IHG’s luxury portfolio across Europe, working closely with investors, developers, and ownership groups to identify and execute strategic hospitality projects.
Earlier, he spent more than six years with Hard Rock International as Vice President of Development (EMEA) – Hotels & Casinos, where he led development initiatives for the company’s hospitality and entertainment brands across multiple international markets. His responsibilities included market assessment, feasibility analysis, project negotiations, and long-term growth planning.
Josh’s hospitality development expertise was further strengthened through his tenure as Director at AECOM – Hotel Real Estate, where he advised developers, investors, and hospitality companies on hotel development strategies, feasibility studies, market analysis, and investment planning. Earlier roles with Kerzner International, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, and PKF Consulting provided him with a strong foundation in hotel operations, sales and marketing, hospitality consulting, and feasibility analysis.
With more than two decades of experience spanning hospitality development, real estate advisory, investment analysis, and mixed-use property planning, Josh brings a comprehensive understanding of global hospitality markets and development strategy. His appointment reinforces Langham Hospitality Group’s commitment to expanding its luxury hospitality portfolio across the EMEA region.
