Stockholm, Stockholm County, Sweden, June 2026 — Urban Italian Group has appointed Juan Amate Bleinnssteinnss as Head of Talent Acquisition, reinforcing its commitment to attracting top hospitality talent and supporting the restaurant group’s continued growth across Europe and beyond.
In his new role, Juan will lead talent acquisition initiatives across Urban Italian Group’s expanding portfolio of restaurant brands and locations. He will be responsible for strengthening employer branding, enhancing recruitment strategies, improving candidate experience, and building scalable talent pipelines to support the company’s ambitious growth plans.
Juan joins Urban Italian Group from Majestas, where he served as Talent Acquisition Manager. In that role, he oversaw global recruitment across the group’s luxury hospitality brands, including Crazy Pizza, Billionaire, La Rose des Vents, Lion in the Sun, and other hospitality ventures. Managing recruitment across more than 15 restaurants in the United Kingdom, Europe, and the Middle East, he led end-to-end talent acquisition efforts while also supporting strategic and corporate hiring initiatives that aligned with the group’s long-term expansion objectives.
Prior to Majestas, Juan spent over three years with DO & CO AG as Global Recruitment Business Partner. There, he managed international recruitment across Spain, Austria, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States, partnering with senior stakeholders to develop talent acquisition strategies, strengthen employer branding, establish university partnerships, and launch the company’s first global internship program.
Earlier in his career, he served as Recruitment Consultant – Corporate Division at Greycoat Lumleys, where he specialized in hospitality and executive recruitment while supporting corporate hiring across multiple industries. Before that, he worked as a Hospitality Recruiter at Learn Train Recruit, helping expand recruitment operations, build client relationships, and improve employee retention programs.
Juan’s professional journey also includes operational leadership roles with Harbour & Jones and CH&Co Group, where he developed expertise in hospitality operations, employee onboarding, customer experience, team leadership, and workforce management. These experiences provided a strong foundation for his later transition into talent acquisition and recruitment leadership.
With more than a decade of experience spanning hospitality, executive search, talent acquisition, employer branding, workforce planning, and international recruitment, Juan brings significant expertise to Urban Italian Group as the organization continues to expand its presence across multiple markets.
