Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, United States, March 2025 – Juan Carlos Huerta has joined Affordable Care as the Sr. Director, Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning. In his new role, Juan Carlos will lead strategic talent acquisition efforts and workforce planning initiatives across the organization. He will focus on developing innovative recruitment strategies and workforce management programs to support Affordable Care’s growth across approximately 440 dental practices nationwide.
Before joining Affordable Care, Juan Carlos served as Sr. Director of Learning & Development at AmeriVet Veterinary Partners, where he led comprehensive L&D initiatives, enhancing organizational capabilities and workforce productivity.
Previously, Juan Carlos was Director of Talent Acquisition & HR Systems and Analytics at Springfield Clinic in Illinois, managing talent acquisition strategies alongside HR analytics to streamline processes and improve hiring outcomes.
At Visionworks of America, Juan Carlos advanced rapidly, serving as Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition (Clinical and Retail), overseeing recruiting strategy for over 700 stores across 40 states. He also held roles as Senior Manager, Strategic Talent Sourcing and Retention, and Manager, Retail Recruiting for Field, where he successfully led large recruitment teams, dramatically improving staffing efficiency and quality.
Earlier, he demonstrated his ability in retail leadership and talent management as Store Market Manager at LensCrafters, Store Manager at Ann Taylor, Retail Store Manager at The Disney Store, and notably as Store Manager at Lucky Brand, where he achieved national recognition in sales performance and pioneered localized market initiatives in Texas.
