San Francisco Bay Area, September 2024 – Julia Lewis has taken on the role of Co-Head of Talent at Norwest Venture Partners. In this new position, Julia will co-lead the firm’s talent partnership function, focusing on talent advisory for their growth equity and healthcare portfolio. With over 60 years of experience and more than $15 billion under management, Norwest Venture Partners is a multi-stage venture capital and private equity firm that works alongside entrepreneurs to provide specialized resources, expertise, and guidance.
Prior to this promotion, Julia Lewis served as VP Talent, Growth Equity at Norwest Venture Partners for nearly three years. In this role, she focused on executive talent and value creation for the firm’s portfolio companies, bringing her expertise to help drive growth and success across industries.
Before joining Norwest, Julia was Head of Finance & Operations Practice at Robert Walters in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she partnered with venture capital firms and startup CEOs to place key leadership roles in early- and growth-stage companies. This role was an extension of her extensive experience at Robert Walters, where she progressed through several roles, including Managing Consultant and Senior Recruitment Consultant, focused on finance and business operations.
Julia also has experience as a Senior Associate at The Language Flagship, a U.S. Department of Defense-sponsored program, where she gained global exposure while working in Phoenix, Arizona and China.
