Dubai, United Arab Emirates, September 2024 – Peter Hogg has been appointed as the Group Head of Talent Acquisition at Al-Futtaim, a leading conglomerate with diversified interests across automotive, financial services, real estate, retail, and healthcare sectors. In his new role, Peter will lead Al-Futtaim’s talent acquisition strategies across multiple regions, ensuring the company continues to attract top-tier talent aligned with its business objectives.
Before joining Al-Futtaim, Peter held the position of Talent Acquisition Director – Middle-East & Africa at Schneider Electric for over 5 years. During his tenure, he was instrumental in shaping talent mobility and acquisition strategies across the region, focusing on bringing in top talent for Schneider’s energy management and automation business.
Prior to that, Peter worked as Talent Acquisition & Mobility Manager for Schneider Electric in the UK & Ireland, where he oversaw recruitment programs and played a key role in establishing gender-balanced hiring initiatives.
Peter’s earlier career includes serving as the Global Resourcing Manager for Doosan Power Systems and holding recruitment leadership roles at Mott MacDonald and Black & Veatch, where he contributed significantly to global talent strategies.
