Julianne has been with ConsumerDirect, Inc. for over three years, beginning as HR Director, where she built and scaled the HR department from the ground up. Her accomplishments include increasing headcount by over 60% within 10 months, implementing advanced HR systems, and achieving a 25% reduction in departmental costs through strategic hiring and vendor negotiations.

Prior to joining ConsumerDirect, Julianne held the position of Human Resources Specialist at Boundary Devices, where she established HR infrastructure to support global operations, including compliance across North America, Asia, and Europe. She also spearheaded talent acquisition efforts, enhancing recruitment efficiency and ensuring organizational scalability.

Julianne’s earlier career includes roles such as HR Office Administrator at Pioneer Circuits, Inc., where she managed training and development for over 250 employees, and Executive Administrative Assistant at European Investment Management, where she contributed to recruitment, training, and financial reconciliation efforts.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in French and Linguistics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and has demonstrated a strong commitment to strategic HR leadership throughout her career.

Matt holds a BA in Economics from the University of Southern California, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the boards of the Lumina Foundation, the Aspen Institute’s Business and Society program, the Milken Institute’s Inclusive Capitalism initiative, and Georgetown University’s initiative on AI, Analytics, and the Future of Work. He is the co-author of numerous Harvard Business School case studies and articles on leadership.
