Gurugram, Haryana, India, April 2025 – Jyoti Mahendru has rejoined McCann Worldgroup India as Chief Talent Officer & National Communications Officer, returning to the agency where she earlier served with distinction as Executive Vice President – Human Resources from 2018 to 2022. In her new role, she will spearhead talent strategy, cultural transformation, and internal communications across McCann’s national network, reinforcing the agency’s commitment to fostering a dynamic and high-performance workplace.
Prior to her return, Jyoti was Chief People Officer at VML India, where she played a key leadership role in culture integration, organizational design, and leadership development during a critical transformation phase. Her time at VML was marked by forward-thinking HR practices that blended innovation with deep people empathy.
Earlier in her career, she held the role of Practice Director – HR Solutions at KNAV India Ltd, and also served as a retainer HR consultant, helping startups and SMEs shape scalable people systems aligned with their growth journeys. Her experience as Vice President HR at Bharti Wal-Mart, Modicare Ltd, and Barista Coffee Company, along with early roles at Star TV Network and Tata Press, showcase over 25 years of cross-industry HR leadership.
Jyoti is widely respected for her strategic HR acumen, people-first leadership style, and ability to align human capital strategies with business priorities, making her a valuable asset to McCann’s continued growth and people agenda.
